Two separate teams have been operating out of the robotics facility at College Park HS since FRC Team 7492 CavBots formed in 2019. At the start of the summer break FRC 1477 Texas Torque and FRC 7492 merged to form one program, College Park (CP) Robotics. Going forward, FRC 1477 retains its name Texas Torque while FRC 7492 will be known as Turbo Torque. The robots and teams can also be referred to by their team number, e.g. 7492 for Turbo Torque. The name Torque refers to the program and both teams.

Over the summer, we have been working together as one program preparing two robots for competition at The Remix on September 13 and 14. Turbo Torque is competing with their robot from this past season. Texas Torque hopes to compete with Delta, a robot they have been working on all summer; it is their Bravo drivebase from this past season with a superstructure based on the Whirlpool robot from FRC 111 WildStang.
